Dear John (Dobson) and Jane (Mason), I was greatly touched by your help and friendliness when I called in on youyesterday out of the blue, and thank you for the gift of the bag and all the information that you sent. What happened next has all the elements of a Greek tragedy. When I got home I spoke by telephone to Una. She was in good form and I arranged to see today, but I held back from telling her about my visit to Questors, to keep it as a surprise. Alas, early this morning I was rung up to be told that Una had died peacefully in her sleep. She was in her 88th year. The pictures will not go to waste. I will download them and attach them to the album we have of Una's acting activities and they will be a permanent reminder of her affection for her time at Questors. She would have been delighted to know that the Questors are in good shape and going strong. Again with my thanks and what undoubtedly would have been Una's too.
Sincerely
Hugh Smith
