IN FOND MEMORY

DAVID PEARSON (d.2024)

Sadly we have received news of the death of David Pearson following a prolonged illness.  This greatly loved Questor had been a cornerstone of The Questors as an actor, director and playwright since graduating from the Student Group in 1964 - not to forget his indispensable contribution to the success of The Coarse Acting Shows from its very beginnings in 1971.

So very sad. A great loss to all who knew him. Sincere condolences to Sonia on her sad, sad loss.

So very sad, but let's celebrate David's outstanding contribution to Questors. I first worked with David on Sandy Wilson's "The Boyfriend" directed by Kit Emmet. He was a great company man and very generous as an actor and a friend. I was encouraged by the way his professional acting career flourished after he retired. A well deserved new lease of life for him.

Coarse Acting would not have been the same without him. So many memories!! I always remember he used to tell me he never got nervous before he went on stage. Because I was always a gibbering wreck, I could never understand that. Still not sure if he was telling porkies or really telling the truth. Funny how you remember bizarre things. Miss you my boy. Love. XXXX

Jenny Webb
Very sad. David was always fun when we played Coarse Acting. Condolences to Sonia . Lyn Langridge-Jones Dear Sonia, I am so sorry to hear this sad news. I can never forget his delivery of the line "I can feel death in my nostrils." Sung in his inimitable style in the Coarse opera "Il Fornicazione." A wonderful bloke.
