THE QUESTORS NEW PLAYS FESTIVALS
3rd Festival 1962

Things were winding down in the 'Old Tin Hut' as preparations for the new Playhouse were progressing according to plan. The Stanislavsky and Shaw Rooms were now in full use, with most productions taking place in the Stanislavsky Room. All that was needed was for the 'Tin Hut' to be demolished to make way for the foundations of the new theatre

So as well as marking the end of an era, this years' festival looked forward to an exciting new future - "a new beginning".

And we even had a West End Hit on our hands!
