Members will be grieved to hear of the sad death of Pat Ferriday last December [1970] after a long illness. Pat joined the Questors in June 1956 and at once became deeply involved in back stage work, becoming one of our most active stage managers and chairman of the stage management committee for a time.

Her energy, humour and dedicated enthusiasm were an inspiration to all those who worked with her and her concern for their problems,no matter how small, led to feelings of real affection for her. Her many friends will miss her deeply.

A new stage managers' chair has been bought in her memory from donations given by friends and will be in use from the opening night of The Duchess of Malfi.
